We are Prematch, founded in 2021 in Cologne — a dynamic startup with a smart and ambitious team. Our marketing and business teams are based in Cologne, Berlin, and London, while our tech and product teams work remotely across Europe.

We’re backed by strong partners such as adidas, Krombacher, NIVEA MEN, and Techniker Krankenkasse — with a couple of exciting collaborations still in the pipeline. Successful investors like Ralf Reichert (CEO of ESL) and Verena Pausder are supporting us on our journey.

Main information

  • Office & Remote: A modern office in Cologne (Belgian Quarter) or Berlin (Mitte) – with the flexible option to work remotely 2–3 days per week.

  • Start & Scope: Available immediately, flexible – full-time.

  • Responsibilities: Sales – you actively shape the sales process and take responsibility for customer success.

For this we need you

  • Sales & Brand Partnerships: You drive revenue growth by winning brand partnerships that directly contribute to increasing sales.
  • You identify relevant brands, directly approach decision-makers, guide them through the entire sales process, and independently close deals. Prematch is growing fast — we are not looking for administrators, but for people who take full ownership of their pipeline and consistently turn it into measurable revenue.

Your mission

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: You own the entire sales process from first outreach (cold acquisition) to contract signing.
  • Outbound & Pipeline Building: You actively generate new leads, develop your own outreach strategies, and build a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Pitch & Closing: You confidently present Prematch to brands and agencies and lead negotiations through to closing.
  • Maintaining Deal Momentum: You actively manage decision-making processes, negotiate terms, and consistently drive deals across the finish line.
  • Collaboration with the Concept Team: You translate brand needs into clear briefs while staying firmly focused on your sales role.
  • CRM & Forecasting: You work in a structured way within our CRM, keep your pipeline clean, and maintain a clear overview of your forecast at all times.
  • Sales Development & Scaling: You contribute ideas on how to scale outreach, processes, and closing rates as we grow.

What do you need

  • Hunter Mindset: You proactively approach new contacts, open doors independently, and enjoy driving deals all the way to closing.
  • Closing Focus: You measure success by revenue, closed deals, and clear KPIs. Activity without results is not success to you.
  • Strong Understanding of Sports Marketing Relevance: You understand how brands think, can put yourself in the shoes of marketing decision-makers, and have a genuine interest in advertising and partnership models within the sports ecosystem.
  • High Ownership & Accountability: You work in a self-driven manner, set ambitious goals, and push topics forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Resilience: Rejection is part of the process for you. You stay focused, extract learnings, and keep moving forward.
  • Startup Fit: Fast pace, ambiguity, and responsibility motivate you more than rigid structures.
  • Languages Are No Barrier: You are fluent in both German and English.
